DPhil Student - Membrane Protein Structure and Function group
I am a final year OXION DPhil student co-supervised by Dr Yin Dong (NDCN), Dr David Sauer (CMD), and Professor Alex Bullock (CMD). I am interested in studying the structures and functions of ligand-gated ion channels as well as amino acid transporters - both of which are membrane proteins involved in synaptic transmission. I am especially interested in solving their 3D structures using Cryo-EM.
